These boots are made for walkin’
I dropped off my uncouthheathen and her heterosexual walking life partner off at Bellevue Community College this morning so they could start their Breast Cancer 3-Day Journey. I dropped them off early, as in we got up at 4:30 this morning and I drove them across I-90 (my first go of it, by the way, and it was hell, thank you for asking) then raced back home to my warm bed laden with warm kitties. I am so very proud of my lady for all the hard work she’s put into training for this walk. That being said, I do look forward to having my wife back. All of her free time had been wrapped up in walking, so all of our summer plans of taking little weekend drives to remote cabins and such went out the window. As soon as her walk is over we’re headed to Cali to visit some relatives and friends and the Central Coast we love so much.
